COMPRESSED AIR THREADED FILTERS
  Walker Filtration design and manufacture in the UK a comprehensive range of silicone free compressed air and gas filtration products for use in almost every industrial environment. By using in-house research and development facilities we create high quality filtration products which satisfy the increasing demands of today's sophisticated market. Within our standard range of threaded filters we offer 14 models with connections from 1/4" to 3". (A20-A308) offering flow capacities up to 1531 scfm (2600 Nm3/h). These models incorporate the unique Walker designed 'push on' filter element, which reduces maintenance time and allows the filter to be located in the most confined places. These filters are manufactured using die-cast aluminium housings for pressure ratings up to 16 barg (232 psig). They are a proven success due to the inclusion of such features as differential pressure indicators which allow continuous monitoring of filter performance.

SMALL FLOW HEATLESS DESICCANT DRYERS (SFD)
  Compact and lightweight, the small flow heatless adsorption dryers guarantee a high quality of compressed air purity to either -20oC (5oF), -40oC (-40oF) or -70oC (-100oF) dew-points. Suitable for laboratories and other point of use applications, the dryers can be wall or floor mounted depending on their size, are simple to install, economical to run, and quiet.
SFD dryers can be installed with direct mounted in-line filtration, eliminating the need for interconnecting pipework, making them particularly easy to maintain
They are manufactured in accordance with the machinery directive and have the assurance of CE marking.
11 sizes are available as standard, with or without direct mounted in-line filtration, suitable for flow rates from 3.4-130 Nm3/hr. Other sizes can be made to order.

MEDIUM FLOW HEATLESS DESICCANT DRYER (MFD)
  The MFD mid-range series of heatless desiccant dryers is available in 10 standard sizes for applications up to 5058 Nm3/h and dew-points of -20oC (5oF), -40oC (-40oF) or -70oC (-100oF)
The MFD range benefits from a unique manifold assembly to control the dryer operation along with a new type of exhaust silencer. The silencer provides noise reduction to levels less than 85dBa and also enables smooth chamber depressurisation with efficient energy purge control.
Further standard features include the chamber pressure gauges and a moisture indicator. Additional features include the coalescing and dust filters, a dewpoint meter, energy management and a pneumatic control system.
The range is designed and manufactured to the highest specifications.

1.MANIFOLD CONCEPT
The manifold concept (patent) is extremely compact and assures that down time associated with planned maintenance is kept to a minimum. The compact design ensures very low pressure loss and eliminates any potential sealing problems.
Manifold assemblies are extremely adaptable and con be easily configured to meet specific installation requirements, including varying dewpoints.

The MFD range utilise unique, 2 stage, by-pass silencers (patent) which have been specifically designed for heatless dryers. The new silencer design not only provides dramatic noise reduction, to levels less than 85 dbA but, also ensure smooth chamber de-pressurisation and efficient energy purge control.
The silencer includes a by-pass valve mechanism which closes during initial de-pressurisation but opens when the pressure falls to 0.5 barg. The advantages of the silencer system are low noise levels, smooth dryer vessel de-pressurisation, minimum differential pressure, consistent purge air performance. The silencer system assures that the performance of the dryer is not jeopardized, during any part of the purge cycle.
Specified within BS4275:1997,BSEN12021:1999 or AS/NZS2299:1999.
